2017 Serena's Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

A special Cabernet from our Hillside Block, with Syrah and Petit Sirah. With a moderate oak flavor, this soft, balanced and very food friendly wine has generous aromas of ripe fruit. While still evolving in the bottle, it's complexity has now "come of age". It is a crowd pleaser.

Pair with steak, braised meats, lamb, mushrooms, aged Havarti cheese, and good company.

2019 Cabernet Sauvignon - Flagship

One of the best vintages for the Paso Robles was the 2019 growing season with heavy winter rains and then through the summer we had moderate weather.

Bold and full bodied, this elegant Cab from our mature hillside block, best 5 rows, has rich flavors, layers of plum with black cherry and boysenberry, and moderate tannins. There is some smokey leather and dried herbs in the nose, but it is fruit forward with a long finish, balanced and approachable; it "begs for a second glass..."

Pair with steak and potatoes, grilled vegetables, pasta with mushrooms, rice dishes, ... and good conversation.

2019 Tempranillo - Limited Edition

APRIL SALE: Enjoy at $35/bottle at check-out (usual price $42).    These grapes, growing steps away from the winery, were hand picked early in the harvest.  The vintage was wetter & cooler, even into the spring.  A large canopy protected these larger sized tight clustered grapes from sunburn.  Note the amaretto cherry flavor, contrasting dried herbal notes and clay minerality.  Only 94 cases with an alcohol of 15.1% - a big wine.

Enjoy now but the wine will continue to age beautifully.  Bottled 5.26.22

Food pairings:  Paella, roast turkey, rosemary garlic pork loin with plum sauce, roast lamb
