One of the best vintages for the Paso Robles was the 2019 growing season with heavy winter rains and then through the summer we had moderate weather.
Bold and full bodied, this elegant Cab from our mature hillside block, best 5 rows, has rich flavors, layers of plum with black cherry and boysenberry, and moderate tannins. There is some smokey leather and dried herbs in the nose, but it is fruit forward with a long finish, balanced and approachable; it "begs for a second glass..."
Pair with steak and potatoes, grilled vegetables, pasta with mushrooms, rice dishes, ... and good conversation.
