2020 Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

100% Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, extra aged in 2/3 NEW oak barrels from selected Rows 21 & 22 of the Hillside Block,  72 cases only, Alc. 15.5%

Aromas and oak flavors are intense with dark berry fruit at the front. Long finish.   This wine, in keeping with our historically complex Cabernet Sauvignon style, is very approachable, food friendly, and an "unexpected pleasure" as previously quoted by Chris Miller, then Sommelier at Spagos, Berverly Hills.  Grown in  a special cooler micro climate & harvested as the last red grape. 

Food Pairing: Grilled and roasted meats, earthy wild mushroom pasta dishes, sausage and chicken cassoulet, wild rice with farro, butternut squash and currants.
