Our beautiful Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is one of our most popular and award-winning wines. These grapes grow on the hillside banks of the dry Estrella Riverbed, where there is a cooler and longer growing season. Complex nuances of red and black fruit with mellowed tannins. Lush full mouthfeel and gorgeous, silky, long finish. Very food- friendly wine - also wonderful as a wine to sip and enjoy with some great friends and conversation!

These grapes, growing steps away from the winery, were hand picked early in the harvest. The vintage was wetter & cooler, even into the spring. A large canopy protected these larger sized tight clustered grapes from sunburn. Note the amaretto cherry flavor, contrasting dried herbal notes and clay minerality. Only 94 cases with an alcohol of 15.1% - a big wine.

This is a special Malbec, Savory with a soft texture and generous mouthfeel. Aromas of dried black cherry and raspberry, with velvety tannins ending in a slightly smoky finish. Taste the plum and blackberry. Grown on our terraced hill, top 4 short rows of vines, & hand picked. This was extra aged in the cellar.

A special Cabernet from our Hillside Block, with Petit Verdot. Note its moderate oak flavor, and textured mouthfeel. This very 'food friendly' wine with generous aromas of dark berry ripe fruit. While still evolving in the bottle, with a good shelflife, it's complexity has now "come of age". It is a crowd pleaser, a perfect "daily ration wine" for any occasion.
Food Pairing: steak, braised meats, lamb, mushrooms, aged Havarti cheese, and good company.

This old vine 2020 Lodi Zinfandel is an approachable aged French Oak lighter red wine, with deep dark berry flavors and hints of dark chocolate on the nose.
Food Pairing: Pair with prime rib, roast pork and turkey, butternut risotto, and lasagna this holiday season. Try it also with soft cheeses, lamb, braised Italian sausage and fennel, hamburgers or pizza.
