75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Petit Verdot 15.3% Alc. Estate grapes, Estate Bottled

Still bottle aging, bottled January 15, 2024. A special Cabernet from our Hillside Block, with Petit Verdot. Note its moderate oak flavor, and textured mouthfeel. This very food friendly wine has generous aromas of dark berry ripe fruit. While still evolving in the bottle, with a good shelflife, it's complexity has now "come of age". It is a crowd pleaser, a perfect "daily ration wine" for any occasion.

Pair with steak, braised meats, lamb, mushrooms, aged Havarti cheese, and good company.

A bold wine with notes of plums, hints of currant and mulberry, but a soft earthiness on the palate, a touch of pepper, and a lingering finish.

Taste the pomegranate, black cherry, & hints of cocoa that accompany a "juicy" wine. 14.8% alcohol. Only 108 cases produced.

Pair this with robust foods, like BBQ meats, teriyaki chicken, spicy dishes, turkey-stuffing-and-cranberries, soft cheeses and Chinese or Thai food.
