2020 Kennea Red Wine - 50% Syrah / 50% Grenache
To honor our employees, Salvador and Ellizabeth, and their daughter, Kennea, we created this wine, a blend of estate earthy Syrah balanced with our plummy flavored Grenache. The Estate Grenache adds notes of raspberry, blackberry and cherry, with a hint of pepper, cinnamon and cloves.
This wine, bottled mid January 2024, would benefit from additional bottle aging to add even more complexity. Allow wine to open up and breathe prior to drinking.
Food Pairings: Turkey, stuffing and cranberries, roasted vegetables, creamy mushroom soup, hearty pastas, pork dishes, prosciutto and pesto stuffed pork loin.
50% Grenache/50% Syrah
The Estate Grenache adds notes of raspberry, black berry and cherry, with a hint of pepper, cinnamon and cloves. It is a bit earthy, complimented by the Estate Syrah. This is an assertive, bold wine that provides a rich and full bodied palate experience.
